15/52, 16/52 and 17/52

I cannot believe its been three weeks, but with the arrival of summer we have been so keen on just living and being outdoors. That together with several conferences, two birthdays (Shea and Reed have birthdays within 2 days of each other) and nearing the end of semester results in not posting for weeks:( But for the best possible reason- being with my dearest people in the world.
So then here are week 15, 16 and 17.

Week 15:
Reed- riding his birthday present (this is our THIRD scooter of the exact same kind- the last two were both stolen- one in Australia, one here in Iowa). Hope third time's the charm.
Siena-my gorgeous little girl. Daddy got an awesome REI tent for his birthday from his brother in law (my brother:) and we had spent loads and loads of time playing in it in the back yard. We can't wait to take it out for a spin.

Week 16:
Reed- one day at the Harvest Preserve which is spectacular!
Siena- more tent awesomeness. Reed and her spent most of the time playing house in that tent.

A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2014 (albeit sometimes delayed).
As always joining in with Jodi over at practisingsimplicity.blogspot.com
Week 17:
Siena and Reed- a lovely day at the Harvest Preserve with some friends. We had visited no less than 4 times in the last week (twice just today!) Such a peaceful lovely place with some great vibes. It is a large piece of forest and prairie with ponds and amazing sculptures and places to be contemplative as well as enjoy nature. We love it, the kids love it.
